Resulting from the pure distillation of bitter orange blossoms (or Seville orange tree), this orange blossom water is the precious result of an artisanal and authentic production that showcases local know-how. Sourced from the orange groves of rural producers, the flower buds are then elevated by a women’s cooperative located in the Bekaa Valley. Immersed in boiling water, the petals release an aromatic steam that is then condensed to produce an exceptional water, delicate and intensely fragrant.

Legend has it that this floral nectar conquered the heart of Emperor Napoleon, who delighted in “white coffee”, a drink combining hot water, sugar, and a few drops of orange blossom water. In Lebanese gastronomy, the very popular floral water “Ma Zaher” is used in many Middle Eastern pastries, as well as in milk puddings, fruit salads, and hot or cold drinks.

For the more adventurous, it can also be added to a tagine or a grated carrot salad. For Easter or Christmas celebrations, this distillate is a must-have in brioches! Our orange blossom water brings all its flavor to Vendée gâche, Spanish Mona, mouna in Algeria, or Colomba di Pasqua in Italy.
