Preparation
In a gin glass, place the bag of dried hibiscus flowers or dried hibiscus petals.
Pour the gin over the hibiscus flowers and let it infuse for about 5 minutes. This will allow the flavors of hibiscus to blend with the gin.
Add ice cubes to the glass to cool it down.
Slowly pour the tonic water over the ice and gin.
Gently stir with a cocktail spoon to mix the flavors while preserving the bubbles of the tonic.
Garnish the cocktail with a zest of orange or citrus to add a touch of fresh aroma and color.
